Mother of Skylar Neese Murderer Requests Case Against Her Be Dismissed
Thursday, August 28, 2014 11:59 AM EDT
Monday, October 5, 2015 3:02 PM EDT
The mother of one of Skylar Neese's murderers claims her actions did not result in Skylar's death, according to a new court filing, and is requesting a case against her be dropped.
Patricia Shoaf's response to a lawsuit filed by David and Mary Neese against Shelia Eddy, Rachel Shoaf, and their mothers indicates that the actions of mothers resulted in Skylar's death.
allege that Tara Clendenen and Patricia Shoaf gave their minor daughters the opportunity
to be out in the early hours of the morning on the night Skylar Neese was killed.
Patricia Shoaf claims Skylar's death and its impact on the Neeses was not a foreseeable risk and the case should be dismissed.
The Neeses demand a trial by jury and financial compensation for their loss, according to the initial court filing.
